Description: Small spread seen on some letters of IN GOD WE TRUST, doubling seen at the bottom of each date digit, doubling also seen on LIBERTY.
Reverse Description: Doubling seen on UNI, RI of America, Extra thickness seen on FG, Branch & leaves, One dollar.
Marker: Obverse full serif R. Obverse has been abraded, scratch and crack pattern under R of liberty in hair, Many scratches around WE, scratch on the upper E of WE and continuing into the field, right side of W of WE two scratches going south-east, Eye socket.. Reverse has been abraded, Scratch pattern seen on and under the moon, two scratches above FG, a complete abrasion took place both in the field and on the eagle, do to clashing of the dies, when this much and to the degree of as this die has been given this strong abrasion there must have been a strong image and maybe a more complete image that had to be removed.
